Christmas Parade

We went to visit my Uncle Scott and Aunt Kathy this past Saturday and at the end of the day we headed out to our 1st super cool Light Up Christmas Parade!!!  The kids LOVED it!!! Pictures from the rest of the day are on my Facebook page....Sarah (my cousin) was taking some at their house along with Aunt Kathy.

 He was nice and toasty!!!!

Waiting for the fun to come rollin' down the street!!

This was my favorite....along with the train above....this is a mini semi that came right after the shriner's cars!

Sigh....

The day has come where crazy boy is in a toddler bed!!!  He officially started climbing out a week ago (on Dec. 2nd at 18 1/2 months old) therefore starting our task of keeping him in this one!!!  It took a week and by Friday he was doing real good!!  I'm not so excited in the morning when instead of him quietly laying in his crib, he comes into our room and wakes us up :)  It's real cute since he's super quiet about it!!  He will get the hang of staying in his room just like the others did.  The first morning he ran out of his room....and into the hallway....I got up and he looked at me and said "shhh....kiet (quiet)."  He knew what the deal was!!!

Monster sugar cookies

Makenzie had a bake sale at her school a few weeks ago so I made sugar cookies (these are just a few pictured)...the huge monster kind!!!  We decided to use the crown and car cutters....for boys and girls :)  I always have fun decorating and I'm thinking of what to do for my next sugar cookie task for her school Christmas program!

Putting up the tree

Logan tried to help....at least he hasn't climbed up it yet...no joke...I thought he may try.  There's still time left....

Instead of the tree topper from last year (which i despise), Kenzie wanted to put a little purple bow on top :) We decided that we didn't care to have a "perfect" tree all nicely in order but rather let the kids have fun and do as they wanted to make the tree pretty :) So....the real tree topper was in the middle back, you will see a few strands of garland, beads, ornaments mainly on one side (but they did a good job) and a few hawaiian lei's on the back.  I say let them have fun and care about a fancy tree later...or this could have started a tradition...let the kids decorate the tree how they see fit and with what they want!!  It's real fun to watch them fix it each day!  I will have to say...my camera was being stupid....may be from me dropping it several times....but i realized the next day it was on the wrong setting...oops!!  Oh, and there's no tree skirt...it's on the mantle as snow this year since I knew some cute little 18 month old would drag it around the house.  We need a new one anyways!

Thanksgiving 2012

He was passed out during the meal :)

 Mmm....dessert!!!

Playing with the cousins....only Ezra and Annie were able to come...along with their parents Joel and Cara.

Blake had to move rooms so Annie and Logan could nap so Grandpa Fulkerson took up the hard task of cuddling....and falling asleep too!!!

The tradition after the meal is to watch Frosty....the old one that's good!! I'd like to know where the marshmellow fight was this year!!!

Get your own dang table Geezer!!! HA!

Uncle Joel came with Ezra and Annie the day after to play while Cara went wedding shopping with her soon to be bride sister!

Hairbows galore.....

This is what this child does at quiet time....yep, she did this herself!!!  It cracked us up!!!!  There are several underneath the others that are not visible!!!  Note the 4 headbands also :)

2 months

Zach loves talking to his baby brother!!!  At 2 months he can hold his head up real good, giggle, sleep thru the night, hold a conversation and smile like a champ! He is 11lbs 8oz (55%) and 23 inches long (75%).  He is such a fantastic baby!!!!!
